Multimedia World LIVE! presents multimedia elements to use and enjoy in every department; to take full advantage of them, your computer will need the following system configuration: System Requirements - 486SX-25 or higher processor - 640x480 256-color display (accelerator recommended) - 8MB RAM - MPC2-compatible CD-ROM drive - Sound Card with speakers or headphones - Microsoft Windows 3.1 or higher - MS DOS 5.0 or later Multimedia World LIVE! Magazine is ready for you to explore. Page through articles and tutorials filled with information plus music, sounds, photos, movies, software and narratives that make each story come alive! Getting Started with Multimedia World LIVE! The Multimedia World LIVE! Magazine will run directly from the CD-ROM; however, for optimal performance, run the Setup application to install Startup and other necessary files to your hard drive. This procedure will create a Multimedia World LIVE! directory on your system including the Multimedia World LIVE! Startup and other applications. Note you do not have to reinstall with each monthly Multimedia World LIVE! disc; we will alert you to upgrades as needed. Installing Multimedia World LIVE! 1. Insert the Multimedia World LIVE! disc into your CD-ROM drive. 2. From Windows 3.1 (or later), install Multimedia World LIVE! to your hard drive: - Using Program Manager, choose the RUN command from the File menu. - Enter D:\SETUP (replacing D with the letter of your CD ROM drive). 3. Then follow the instructions that appear on your screen. Running Multimedia World LIVE! 1. Be sure the disc is in the CD-ROM drive. 2. From Program Manager, double click Multimedia World LIVE! icon. 3. Select the Multimedia World LIVE! Magazine image displayed on the left of the Startup window to open the magazine. If a magazine image is not visible, select Preferences from the Tools Palette on the right and enter the letter of your CD-ROM drive. Using Multimedia World LIVE! Open the Multimedia World LIVE! Magazine. On the cover you'll find a video overview of the disc. Then from the next page--the Table of Contents--you can select any of the five departments of Multimedia World LIVE! Magazine.
